This review is for the e-text version only. I bought this so I could use the book on my tablet and laptop. Initially, all was well. I can highlight and bookmark pages and I can search for text. But I cannot go to a page number that my professor specifies nor can I go to a chapter. I spend a lot of time hitting the enter key or my mouse button to scroll. On an open-book test, I searched for a word that I had to define and found the word in the index but because I couldn't go to that page (Kindle on my laptop and tablet only uses location, not page numbers) I was not able to look up the word. I have now bought the hard copy so it cost me twice as much. I would not buy the Kindle version of this until it is a fully operational, searchable, computer indexed e-text. This is not a fictional book that you will read from cover to cover. You will need to use the search properties. The book itself is a must have - suck up having to carry that monster of a book around and get the hard copy until they fix the e-text version.

Exactly what I was looking for. Great quality! Perfect resource book especially if you're studying for your Architectural Registration Exam for Building Systems.

This is a decent book. Does its job although at times, either confusing ot stated too many facts that people already know. I prefer the other mechanical/electrical building code (a blue book). Helps me look for building codes better and types of electrical equipment that applied for my study case/design.

Passed Building Systems on the first try thanks to this book.

Daniel Lis did a great work on Igbo history. I am an Igbo, and I have been very active in the field of Igbo history for many years, yet I am admitting that this work revealed so much to me. His book 'Jewish Identity Among The Igbo of Nigeria' reached many unexplored and under-explored areas of the Igbo people's connections and dealings with both the Jews in Diaspora and the ones in the State of Israel. If he had not brought out the information, would the Igbos have known that while the Igbo tragedy called the Nigeria-Biafra which took at least three million Igbo lives raged, that Israelis demonstrated in front of the Knesseth against what one of the protesters-a chief rabbi of Israel then, likened to another Autschwitz, because there was evidence that genocide was being carried out against the Igbos. And how many Jews would have learned that the much liked Dr. M.I. Okpara, the second most Igbo political leader in the years -1960-1970, had declared publicly that he viewed himself, to use his words, 'I view myself almost as an Israelite, and I would always go to Israel', and this was when Israelis were barred officially from entering some non Igbo parts of Nigeria.Lis brought out these and much more in the encyclopedic work.
